Whenever I’m going to a party or get together and don’t want to show up empty handed or am not sure what to bring I always bring these chocolate chip cookies.  They are easy to make and are always gone within minutes.  My children’s friends are always asking me to make my cookies.  Give this recipe a try and it will be the only chocolate chip cookie recipe you will ever use.

1/2 Teaspoon Salt

1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

2 1/2 Cups Flour

1 Package Chocolate Chips

Preheat oven to 375 Degree Fahrenheit.  Soften butter and blend together with white and brown sugar.  Add eggs and vanilla and blend well.  Mix in salt, baking soda and flour.  Once well mixed, stir in one package chocolate chips.  Spoon spoon fulls of cookie dough onto a baking sheet and bake for 11 minutes.  Let cool and enjoy!  Yummy!  Makes about 3 dozen cookies, unless your family steals most of your cookie dough!
